Awwwards, 2026

The Awwwards trophies were developed from the identity of the competition, which recognises the most consistent digital projects in design, usability and online experience. For this edition, the historic trophy is reinterpreted through a brutalist aesthetic, aligned with the structural simplicity and material honesty of high-level digital design.

The piece is manufactured using a concrete and cement blend with recycled rubber aggregate, providing density, texture and a defined mineral presence. This material language emphasises volume, weight and clean geometries, translating the Awwwards philosophy into a physical object with character.

The design preserves the classic morphology of the award and introduces a single contrast point: a front-facing W with a candy gold mirror finish, standing out against the mineral base and reinforcing the competition’s visual identity. A solid, tactile trophy aligned with the values Awwwards recognises online: clarity, structure and functionality.
