ARC, 2021
Trophy created as part of the workshops on design and sustainability that we conduct in collaboration with the Catalan Waste Agency, where we introduce students to design concepts based on recycling, the meaning of ecological materials, and how to design with them in an innovative and creative way.
We are very pleased to have accepted the exciting challenge of designing and developing the Catalunya d’Ecodisseny ARC project in 2021.
The trophy represents circularity both in its form and in its materials: wood, recycled HDPE plastic, and recycled mix plastic.
And since nothing goes to waste here, the inner leftover material from the circular shape was used to create the trophy for the honorary mentions, which for the first time have their own physical award.
